Know when a competitor starts slipping

Most monitoring tells you when a rival wins. This one tells you when a rival is losing across several signals at once, which is usually the better moment to move.

What sets it off

  • Visits falling against the previous week.
  • Social following flat or shrinking across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and X.
  • Search and keyword presence weakening over the same period.
  • The alert only fires when several of these move together, so a single bad week does not set it off.

What lands in your inbox

Performance Decline Alert: Acme Corp

Acme Corp declined across multiple signals since your last report: visits down 19%, social following down 4%, and reduced search presence.

Team plans and above can also receive the same alert as a JSON POST to a webhook URL you set in the app.

How to switch it on

Three steps, about two minutes.

1

Add the competitors you want watched.

2

Open Alerts and toggle on the triggers you care about.

3

Wait for the next weekly run. You only hear from us when a threshold is crossed.

Questions

Why alert me about a competitor doing badly?

Because it is a buying signal. A rival losing traffic and audience at the same time is usually cutting spend, losing rankings, or between campaigns — the window where their customers are easiest to win.

Will one bad week trigger it?

No. The trigger looks for decline across traffic, social and search together, which filters out ordinary week-to-week noise in any single metric.

How often does it run?

Weekly. Every new report is compared against your previous one, and alerts are sent on the Monday run.

Can I get this into Slack or another tool?

On Team and above you can set a webhook URL and each alert is POSTed there as JSON, which you can route into whatever you use. Email is included on every plan.
